Sunroom is a rapidly growing venture-backed startup based in Austin, TX. We're dramatically improving the home and apartment search process and empowering renters in new and exciting ways. Started in 2018 by the founders of Favor Delivery, we've since helped thousands of renters find an amazing place to live. 


This role is part of our expanding Operations Team responsible for making sure our partners have an easy and seamless experience getting their properties live on our platform. With properties in many parts of the US,  we're looking for an Operations Support Specialist to improve the customer experience and streamline operations in the following ways:


What you'll be doing:

  • Engage with operations specialists who call, text, or slack us with questions about setting up a property. The big goal here is to help the driver to get the job completed within one trip, so the property can go live on time. 

  • Taking an average 10-15 inbound calls a day, answering emails, and escalating issues to internal and external teams. 

  • Provide feedback, and insights for product

  • Troubleshooting issues with partners and operations specialists 

  • Assist as needed with listing, and updating properties on the MLS and on Sunroom

Job requirements

  • Able to work weekends

  • Phone Skills Preferred.

  • High Emotional Intelligence

  • Strong Communicator: You're comfortable interacting with customers by phone and text message. You can help troubleshoot issues with a positive attitude!

  • Tech-savvy: You will do most of your work on a laptop, so you need to be comfortable working with web applications such as those in the Google Suite (docs, sheets, etc).

  • Self-Starter: You can handle multiple responsibilities and plan your day accordingly. You're resourceful and not afraid to ask questions.

  • Creative: You like to think of innovative solutions to a problem.
